Kim Kleinle, a PGA Certified Professional and LPGA member, is the PGA head professional at Pinecrest Lake Golf Club in Pocono Pines, Pa.

In this video, Kim discusses how she increased her outing business through a non-traditional event. Kim was able to create monthly “Golf for a Cause” tournaments in order to help drum up outing business. For the entry fee, players in the tournaments received green fees, lunch and a charitable donation. Since beginning the “Golf for a Cause” events, Pinecrest Lake has seen a 25-percent increase for its outing revenue, as well as a significant increase in golf shop sales.
